Hi Sheryl,
I meant to comment on your post about the priest a couple of days ago. I've run into a few over the years who were like him. Many of them really had a feeling of power, especially over kids. Also true of the nuns who taught, although I never went to a parochial school, but I had them for Catechism.
And an hour-long homily? Wow!
