...there's no place like cyber-home.

So I haven't written in a while. Sorry, to anyone who cares. I've been busy at work and really couldn't take the time to write, and when I write at home I actually have to wait for the computer to catch up to me and it's annoying. Add to that the fact that I really don't have much interesting to say and you get a hiatus from blogging. What can I say? Things at the ol' office have been...interesting. One of the most interesting developments I can't talk about because...well, I don't want to end up in prison on a federal offense. If you're savvy, you can maybe figure out the general category of the development, but I sincerely doubt you could guess the particulars.

So, what else? Annoying Co-Worker got put on an "action plan" last week. There are a lot of reasons, but among them is her tendency to take two hour lunches, to spend the better part of the day nuring her co-dependent relationship with her youngest daughter, to do work for her other job while on the clock for this one, and, most importantly, to turn in incomplete or poor quality work as a final result and to not take the comments I make on her work seriously and failing to make corrections. Is it wrong that I feel a certain sense of vindication?

AC was also told that she can't complain to me or Good Co-worker about Lovely Boss or anything else in the department. LB even told GC and me to tell her if she does. Well, that's meant that it's been a lot quieter out in cubicle land. That's good and bad. It's good because I don't have to listen to the complaints or deal with her attempts to put me in the middle of this weird quasi-power struggle AC has going on with LB. It also means I don't have to know every detail of her youngest daughters life, because she isn't talking to her on the phone every five minutes. It's bad because now she doesn't talk at all in cubicle land. It makes for a long day, because GC and LB don't venture out of their offices to talk with me often. It gets lonely sometimes.

You may have noticed that my attitude about LB has changed. Or not, if you haven't read my blog before now. Well, a couple weeks ago when AC and GC were both out of the office, she and I had a nice, long chat. She told me that she recognized that I had been doing a lot of AC's work, and that I wasn't being recognized for it (AC put her name on all the work I did), and that she told AC that she wasn't allowed to give me work anymore. I kind of sensed that, and when AC tried to pawn work off on me, I found excuses to be doing something else.

I'm leaving you on a cliffhanger, I'll write mote later.
